As an extension of our Home Care Services Program, the “Friendly Visitors” program is a volunteer initiative that provides in home companion support to an aging adult in need. “Friendly Visitors” are that welcome smile, heart and spirit that offer the gift of time to an aging adult and needed relief to a primary caregiver so that they may take a break and tend to self-care. As a volunteer “Friendly Visitor” you will engage in the following in home activities to support an older adult:

• In home Companion
• Hobby Companion (games, crafts, etc.)
• Dog walking
• Assist with setting appointments
• Asist with errands etc.
