Active Minds provides lifelong learning programs for seniors and adults throughout the greater Denver metro area, Boulder, and beyond.

Have you heard about the Adams County Senior Citizen Property Tax Exemption? Qualifying seniors, as well as the surviving spouses of seniors who previously qualified, can receive a property tax exemption!

The Senior Citizen Exemption is available to applicants who:
• are at least 65 years of age prior to January 1 of the year of application,
• owned their home for at least 10 consecutive years prior to January 1, and
• occupied it as their primary residence for at least 10 consecutive years prior to January 1.

For those who qualify, 50 percent of the first $200,000 of actual value of the property is exempted.
