COVID-19 notice: Senior Hub Meals on Wheels delivery will continue as scheduled for residents in Adams or Arapahoe County

Rural Meals on Wheels

The Senior Hub Meals on Wheels program provides a hot, nutritious meal to those who are unable to prepare one for themselves. Through our partnership with the Golden Corral, Meals On Wheels is offered as a subsidized meal option.

Golden Corral Ready-to-eat meals

Our program provides seniors with meals that supply a portion of their daily nutritional requirements. They are delivered Monday-Friday by a volunteer hot and ready to eat. Meals are available on a contribution basis, based on income. No one is turned away due to an inability to pay*.

  • Meals are low in sodium, low in fat and diabetic friendly.
  • They are cooked soft so that it’s easy to chew
  • Meals include a main entrée, vegetables, usually fruit, and low-fat milk.

To qualify for the Meals on Wheels program seniors must meet the following criteria:

  • Reside in Adams or Arapahoe county
  • Aged 60+
  • Be considered homebound
