SPRING SERVICE DAY 2004

Saturday, June 5th

Join us in helping frail, disabled, or chronically ill seniors with their house or yard cleaning. Faith in Action at The Senior Hub will participate in the 4th annual Faith in Action Spring Service Day along with other Faith in Action programs throughout Colorado by focusing primarily on helping seniors age 60 or over. Teams of volunteers will be assigned to an elderly person or couple who need help cleaning inside their home and/or their yard.

This is a great volunteer opportunity for people of all ages who would like to serve their community but don't have enough time to volunteer on a weekly basis. Individuals, high school students, church groups, service organizations, and businesses can all participate in Service Day. Volunteers work in teams of three or four people to clean the inside or outside of the home. Volunteers may form their own teams or be assigned to a team near them. The time commitment is approximately four hours on Saturday morning.

Projects are available throughout Adams County, Aurora, Watkins, Bennett, Strasburg, Byers, and Deer Trail.
